I have found that while Ag start-ups have much in common with other early- stage ventures, they also have some very specific challenges often around value proposition, selling cycle, distribution channels and financing that are unique to their industry. 2 To identify promising investments in the early-stage Ag sector. I have been investing in Ag for a number of years and raised over $100MM for CellFor as their CEO. I have developed a diverse portfolio that includes Teak Plantations, Precision Ag technology, Seedlings and Nurseries Assets, Insect Protein production, Bio-pesticides and plant-based nutra/pharmaceuticals. I am looking to share my approach to investing and my opportunities with other investors interested in the early Ag space. I am not a placement agent and receive no compensation for sourcing investment. Rather, I think it is is important to broaden the investor base for Ag companies and am committed to helping that happen.

- We identify sectors we consider important going forward
- Once the sectors are identified we look for companies that have sustainable competitive advantage, a compelling business model, initial market validation and a strong team.
- Examples of priority sectors where we have not yet identified investment opportunity are water management and aquaculture.
